What The Metropolitan Police Say
"Alarm systems are a worthwhile investment in the protection of your home and family. Studies reveal that it is far less likely that you will become the victim of a burglary at home if you have a correctly fitted and well maintained burglar alarm."

If you decide Securicom UK is for you, most systems will only take one day to install and our security-screened installers work Monday to Sunday.

Our security products are fully guaranteed for 12 months from date of installation, for both parts and labour. In addition we offer a 365-day, 24/7 access to one of our engineers in the unlikely event that you experience problems.

A Range of Security Options
Securicom UK systems are versatile. Over the last few years there have been considerable advances in security technology and prices for what was once specified as 'elaborate extras' have are now the norm at very reasonable prices.

Your system can be set to alarm only selected zones throughout the house (so you can set just the downstairs at night, for example); to ‘chime’ when entry/exit doors are opened during the day, even to provide a standby ‘panic’ facility before opening your door to a stranger.

We can install a dialler alarm that can telephone your mobile phone or land line phone if triggered, plus three other numbers in rotation until it is answered. We can also install smoke detectors that are monitored buy the alarm panel and call your mobile if triggered, as well as sounding the internal and external sounders. The other advantage being that you will never have to remember to change the batteries again because these devices are powered by the panel and its battery back up.

This is basically Total Home Security Protection

System Options

  • Points To Check When Choosing the right Installer
If you decide to have an alarm installed to your property, what should be the points to look for?
  • Always approach a company that has a long history of installing alarm systems. Unfortunately, this is an industry that riddled with "fly by night", "here today gone tomorrow" companies.
  • Be sure that the system will be installed and maintained to the British Standard 4737 or BS 6799 Class VI alarm and conform to the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Intruder Alarm Policy.
  • Before disclosing personal security details, check the address and credentials of the company and seen proof of identity from the representative.
  • Specify that the installation will be to British Standard 4737 or BS 7042 (high security systems), or, if it is a wire free alarm, BS 6799 Class 6, as amended by BS DD 244.
  • Does the company operate a 24 hour call-out service and emergency attendance.
  • Beware of companies that offer rental agreements. A rented system may appear to be cheap but will cost far more in the long run and terminating the agreement will result in the company removing it's equipment, leaving you to find a new system and installer.
  • Beware of Maintenance Contracts, many companies will insist that you sign-up to a three or five year contract, this means that you are tied to an installer regardless of the quality of their service.
  • Many of the largest companies in the security industry sub-contract a large proportion of their work to smaller companies and individual engineers, ultimately they have little or no control over the quality of work carried out in their name.
